Invited again our friend to model but this time with group of friends from OPPPS. Discovered a good spot in the desert near Hatta. The place is not just good for picture taking but also a good camping ground. This time the model's brother was with us and he too was more than willing to pose for group of photographers.
We're gonna do this a lot more often !

I LOVE the contrasts from the black to brown (sand, skin tone, tree and dress). Composition is great as well as the placement. She compliments the extension of the roots. Wonderful!
salutes! nice set sir rocky! favorite ko lahat!
hashp wrote on Dec 20, '07 I think you got the flash on the wrong side for this one Rocky. The flash seems to be on the right side of the camera, causing shadows of her arm to show. Also a bit of buring-in is required I think, for the skin. I love the tones in the other pics in this group. -hash

Very nice work overall. What kind of artificial light source you were using? if you don't mind sharing. cheers, oz_ranger www.pbase.com/oz_ranger
Thanks for liking it. Something is wrong with my post processing, the sharpness goes off when I reduce the size of the image for multiply.
Hash, welcome to my multiply site. I guess you are right. It is just one harsh portable studio light on the right of my camera. We can't afford to put a diffuser since there were many photographers and one battery pack.
Sarap ulitin. Zyvervenz, next week ulit. Hope we can learn from our mistake. Anyway, I don't think Fashion shoot is gonna be my forte unlike yours. Just want to learn a bit or two.
Bro.....i'm just wondring what is thatwhite thing (reflections) near the models neck....is this the effect of the post proccess?....You are really and "Itchy Finger".
Great Capture Bro...Nice skin tone also ....everything is Perfect.
ceslou wrote on Dec 21, '07, edited on Dec 21, '07 It's the post processing Bro. I want to achieve an underexpose background and brightly lit model effect. I was trying to select the sky and darken it a bit but I was in hurry to post it here in multiply so the output isn't that correctly done. Thanks for pointing it out.
Thanks San, what image size you usually pose on this website? The smaller file that shows when you click the thumbnail does not look very good.

I think she's a natural model. One of our mentor teaches her to pose too.
| this is an interesting set Cesar. i like the not-so sharp treatment on this one thus having an organic feel of the photo. btw, the model's expression is effective as well.
Kudos! |
awsome and great picture congrats bro
